Key Construction is currently overseeing the demolition and reconstruction of pool houses at the Lapeer, Summer Stephens, and Ten Eyck city pool facilities. The three public swimming pools are being upgraded for the first time since they were built in the 10950s. This project involves a complete overhaul of the existing structures, with all facilities being rebuilt to incorporate new, high-efficiency mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
In the heart of the city’s public pool system, the project aims to enhance the longevity and functionality of these vital community resources. Each building will be equipped with state-of-the-art plumbing fixtures and advanced pool equipment to ensure seamless operation for many years to come.
The construction also includes new masonry, metal roofing, high-performance coatings, tiling, and other premium finish materials designed to keep the buildings in excellent condition. This modernization will not only improve functionality but also ensure the pool houses remain a durable and attractive part of the community.
